Attention all you hipsters out there! Get ready for an evening at the beach--1950's style! On Friday, August 19th, Gallery artist Lois Herrick invites you to join us for Vintage Florida - A Day at the Beach! Wear your favorite vintage Hawaiian shirt, Panama Hat, sarong and sandals (with socks if you must) for a fun night celebrating the art of vintage Florida tourism. Vintage postcards and art on display, live jazz by the Mark Doyle/Jeff Abbott duo, great food and more! Who can dress as the wildest Florida tourist? Got some great vintage shades? Wear them! Don't forget the zinc on the nose...it's always sunny in Florida! See you at 6:00!
CGMSG is a non-profit cooperative of Palm Beach County artists. Our goal is to provide affordable studio space to artists, while promoting and supporting arts in the community. More than an art gallery--it's a space dedicated to personal expression and social conscience. Working together, we have created an ecclectic mix of art in all forms. Pottery, sculpture, fine jewelry, metalwork, glass--it's all here, all hand crafted. We're open every day, and the gallery is staffed by the participating artists (over 20 and counting!). So, come in, meet an artist and enjoy the ART! For more information call (561) 588-8344 or email us.
